Yo so I met this dude named Dj Haircut from Detroit a few years back when DJ Houseshoes moved to L.A from detroit. He was in a hip hop group called Now On and I would see him spin all the time. I was off of the LA scene for a while because I was touring and what not. I came back and my dude B played me this joint called "Just Aint Gonna Workout" by a dude named Mayer Hawthorne and I was blown away. So I looked him up and Lo and Behold its this dude Haircut. So needless to say that I was surprised that he had a voice like this. Well the album was released today on itunes and I bought it and I am on my 5th listen and its so good that had to blog about it. So much love to Mayer Hawthorne aka DJ Haircut...
