2009 Mu'Fuckas

Yo 2009 is poppin, and I'm super stoked...Its only January and things are going well..I will be touring with Trash Talk for the first half of the year..We hit Japan next week for the Pump Up The Volume Fest. ATL at the end of February for the Scion Rockfest.. Texas for SXSW...Then Australia in April...Needless to say wild times are ahead...Barack Obama is officially the President of The United States of America..Say word...2008 was easily the worst year of my life..I lost alot of shit..heartbreak definitely comes in more ways than one..and when it comes in all ways possible.shit sucks..but 09 is looking good my friends...

I felt compelled to put this article on my blog because it damn near brought me to tears. I knew there was an issue wit Dilla's estate but i wasnt completely aware of the whole situation. And im still not but this article provides some insight..R.I.P kid..thanks for the memories

Grammy Season

Ahhh yesssss.....Grammy Time...my favorite time of year...its the time of year when the Top musicians,producers,artist, engineers etc. are awarded for their work over the last year...Im stoked to see who cleans up this year, im guessing Lil  Wayne will do pretty well since he had the biggest album of this year but Im looking forward to a couple of other nominees taking home some hardware....My man Danger Mouse is up for Producer of the year ..and he produced 3 of my fav albums this year..Beck,The Black Keys and Gnarls Barkley...Radiohead is nominated as well as The Raconteurs and a few other artist that i dig....You can check out the complete list of nominees here.......http://content.grammy.com/grammy_awards/51st_show/list.aspx

Kelis Kaleidoscope..Her 1st album..Sooo good, it takes me back to High School...Classic Neptunes shit..song content=crazy...I havent heard this album in a minute..Im glad im back into it.. 

Jamie Foxx -Intuition....My dude.... great album to get sum pussy to..real deal...he always comes thru wit the bedroom joints...

N.E.R.D- In Search Of...    Yo I was able to come across the original version of this album which was only released in the U.K ..I had it when it came out back in 01 or 02 but it got all scratched up and stopped working (these were the pre ipod,mp3 days) they re released the album in the states with spymob playing all of the music which was good but ive always like the original version which was all Neptunes production as opposed to a live band..

Paramore-Riot Good ass album..shorty's voice is sooooo good..this was a tour find..I had heard the band singles but i never thought to pick up the album until Nick Fit (Trash Talk's Roadie) was playing the album while driving thru the midwest and we ended up playing the album everyday on the tour and im still bumping it....

Madlib-The Beat Konducta Dil Cosby Suite-Its Madlib yo..need i say more?? its another installment in his Beat Konducta series of instrumental albums..this one is special because its the Dil Cosby joint (dedicated to the late great JDilla) my man B.C played the album for me a few nights ago as we smoked a few blunts and i was in awe so i immediately went home and copped it..shits nuts go fuck wit it for real....

Polar Bear Club- Somethings Just Disappear-Another tour find..and im glad i found this one..it has become one of my favorite albums..very energetic but still melodic enough for a nigga to sing along 2..subject matter is dope 2..these dudes are easily one of my new favorite bands..

So ....I guess im blogging now..Recently Ive found my self aimlessly surfing the internet for hours and stumbling across things that i find interesting . And I decided that i wouldnt mind sharing them with the rest of the world..I cant promise that my blog will be more interesting than any other blog that u might come across..but...its just whats in my brain....I recently did a 45 day  tour with my dudes Trash Talk..wildest times ever..im heading to Japan with them in about 3 weeks and im super stoked.....
